one of the Iranian people's major celebrations that they celebrate
on the night of last Tuesday () of the Iranian new year. For more

Chaharshanbe-Suri
(Persian:
چهارشنبهسوری),
pronounced Charshanbe-Suri (Persian:
چارشنبهسوری)
is the ancient Iranian festival dating at least back to 1700 BCE of
the early Zoroastrian era. The fire festival is a prelude to the
ancient Norouz festival, which marks the arrival of spring and the
revival of nature. Chahrshanbeh Suri celebrated on the last Tuesday
night of the year (eve of the Wednesday before the Iranian New
year). The word Chahar Shanbeh means Wednesday, and Suri is red. The
bonfires lit at sunset, and the idea is not to let the sun set.
Bonfires lit to keep the sun alive till the early hours of the
morning. The celebration usually starts in the evening. On this
occasion, people make bonfires on the streets and jump over them.
The young shoot lots of fireworks before and during Chaharshanbe
Suri (literally: Feast Wednesday).
This year's Chahar Shanbeh Soori is on Tuesday 03/16/2021. At
sunset, after making one or more bonfires, people jump over the
flames, singing "sorkhi-ye to az man, zardi-ye man az to," literally
meaning" [let] your redness [be] mine, my paleness yours."

Almost any major city or Metropolis in the US and worldwide
organized special events, shows, and concerts with famous singers,
dancers, special foods, etc. This year, due to the Pandemic, there
is no public event scheduled (that I am aware of). However, some
