CAN A PERSON WITH AN L1 WORK VISA BUY A
HOME IN USA?

What is an L1 Visa?
An L1 visa is typically a
short term visa (depending on the country) where an employee is
transferred to the U.S. working for the same employer they were
working for already (international companies), so the employer
would need to have started the sponsorship before most lenders
would do a mortgage to show they will be remaining in the U.S.
Typical
requirements are that the visa needs to have at least 3 more
years on it...OR if the employer has started the sponsorship for
the green card, then the visa will NOT be renewed by
immigration, so the sponsorship paperwork is the substitute
documentation.
Borrower
still needs a 2 year credit history and assets need to be in a
U.S. bank account
Any Lender should be able to do it. But, if
you don’t know any lenders in your area and looking for one, you
